Temporary Chef de Partie – Contract Catering

About the role

This temporary Chef de Partie position works across Central London for a contract‑catering provider, covering corporate offices, events, colleges and other venues. You will run a designated section, preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to recipe and quality standards while keeping your station clean and fully stocked. The role offers flexible working patterns and the possibility of ongoing bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes for your assigned section according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a spotless, well‑stocked workstation throughout each shift.
• Adapt to different brigades, menus and site requirements across various client locations.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen teams in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments.

Required profile

• At least one year of proven Chef de Partie experience in the UK.
• Full uniform compliance – chef’s whites, personal knives and kitchen safety shoes.
• Level 2 Food Safety and Allergen Awareness certificates (training provided if needed).
• Professional attitude, strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
• Availability for core hours 07:00‑17:00, Monday to Friday.
