Temporary Chef for Nursery (Haywards Heath)

About the role
We are supporting a charming nursery in Haywards Heath that needs a dedicated Chef on a temporary basis. The role starts on 3rd June and is initially for two weeks, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, home‑cooked lunches suitable for children under five, following the nursery’s menus.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Adapt meals to meet special dietary requirements and allergies.
Required profile
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Prior experience in a school or nursery kitchen is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS check.
