Temporary Computer Science Lecturer – Flexible Teaching Role

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Computer Science Lecturers for temporary assignments with established Further Education providers in Central London. The role offers flexibility and the chance to impact learners across a variety of programmes and levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Computer Science lessons.
• Teach learners of differing abilities and track their progress.
• Assess work, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
• Support development of practical computing, programming and digital skills.
• Contribute to learner achievement, retention and progression.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Computer Science, Computing, IT or related field.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Computer Science in FE, HE, secondary or adult learning settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
