Temporary Credit Controller (4 positions)

About the role

We are seeking up to four temporary Credit Controllers to join a fast‑paced project aimed at clearing a high‑volume ledger of lower‑value outstanding debts. The role is telephone‑based, requiring strong collection skills and frequent customer contact.

Key responsibilities

• Make around 100 outbound calls per day to business customers.
• Chase outstanding invoices and secure payment commitments.
• Update customer records accurately after each interaction.
• Identify, log and escalate customer disputes such as pricing queries.
• Raise cases within the system and move efficiently onto the next account.
• Manage a portfolio of 500+ accounts.
• Collaborate with the project team to achieve collection targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a high‑volume calling role (≈100 calls/day) managing large ledgers.
• Comfortable making high‑volume outbound calls throughout the day.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Resilient, organised and target‑driven.
• Ability to handle objections in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work fully office‑based for the project duration.
