Temporary Customer Service Assistant – Salisbury

About the role

We are seeking a Temporary Customer Service Assistant to join our busy team in Salisbury on a week‑by‑week basis. The role starts ideally on 3 August and offers the chance to work in a specialist medical‑device environment, providing front‑line support to B2B customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email, delivering a high standard of service.
• Process and confirm customer orders accurately, ensuring correct product, delivery and pricing details.
• Liaise with internal departments such as sales, logistics and finance to resolve issues and fulfil orders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM and order management systems.
• Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including preparing quotations and updating account information.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, sales support, internal sales or account support.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing a busy workload.
• Professional, positive and customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using CRM systems for order processing and customer record keeping.
