Temporary Customer Service Representative – Wandsworth

About the role

We are seeking a personable, proactive, and adaptable Customer Service Representative to support the day‑to‑day processing of visa applications and renewals. The position is temporary for three months with the possibility of extension, working 20‑24 hours per week on a rota basis. You will be the first point of contact for applicants, ensuring a smooth, professional, and positive experience throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers throughout the visa application process, providing clear guidance and support.
• Help applicants complete and verify forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collect biometric data and required documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow structured administrative and filing processes to maintain organized records.
• Use the dedicated computer‑based system to manage workflow and update applicant information.
• Handle customer queries and complaints with diplomacy, confidence, and a solutions‑focused approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure while delivering high‑quality service.
• Can‑do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for applicants.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team‑oriented setting.
• Strong communication skills with a patient and supportive approach.
• Valid DBS certificate required as part of the screening process.
