Temporary Delegate Sales Advisor

About the role

This temporary position supports a small Media & Agency company in promoting its events and driving delegate registrations. You will work on a flexible, short‑term basis in Guildford, engaging directly with prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Contact potential delegates to promote event attendance and secure registrations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to clearly communicate event benefits.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospects to encourage repeat engagement.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets within the assigned timeframe.
• Record sales activities and outcomes accurately in the company’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to share insights and strategies.
• Provide feedback to management on client needs and market trends.
• Assist with event preparation and execution tasks as required.

Required profile

• Prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the Media & Agency sector.
• Strong verbal communication and persuasive selling approach.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and solid organisational abilities.
• A genuine passion for events and the Media & Agency industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for managing client interactions.

What we offer

• Hourly pay ranging from £14.00 to £17.00, based on experience.
