Temporary Finance Analyst – 3 month contract

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare company in London, is seeking a temporary Finance Analyst for a three‑month assignment. You will join a fast‑paced environment, supporting senior management with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process, including cash‑flow and tax cash‑flow planning.
• Partner with budget holders to ensure accurate submissions, providing challenge and guidance where required.
• Analyse financial and operational trends to identify key performance drivers and inform forecasts.
• Produce monthly management reports with variance analysis, commentary and performance insights.
• Collaborate with procurement and operational teams to identify cost‑saving and value‑improvement opportunities.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems and reporting.
• Present financial performance, key variances and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Report monthly results, annual budgets and quarterly re‑forecasts to the Group.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial process improvement.
• Ability to work with minimal notice (immediate or within one week).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
