Temporary Maintenance Technician – Warehouse Racking Project

About the role

We are seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to support a two‑week warehouse improvement project in Andover. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will help dismantle existing racking, install new structures, and relocate stock safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle and remove existing warehouse racking.
• Assist with the installation and positioning of new racking systems.
• Relocate stock and materials from old to new racking locations.
• Perform general maintenance and facilities support tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow all health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support the Facilities Manager throughout the project.

Required profile

• Practical hands‑on experience in maintenance, facilities, warehouse or similar environments.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to start on Thursday, 16 July and commit to the full two‑week assignment.
