Temporary Packer – Production Department

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Packer to join our Production Department on a temporary basis. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring moulded pulp products are packed accurately and ready for delivery. This role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday schedule and the chance to contribute to a smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Hand‑pack products according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect packed items for defects and report any issues promptly.
• Generate and apply accurate labels for each packed product.
• Maintain a clean, organised packing area.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in training new team members when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills for label generation and production recording.
• Strong organisational abilities and good hand‑eye coordination.
• A caring and responsible attitude toward colleagues and the environment.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.50.
• Fixed‑term temporary contract.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
