Temporary Part Time Sales Assistant

About the role

This temporary part‑time position supports the daily operations of a Heron Foods store in Birkenhead. Working 12 hours per week, you will help keep the shop well‑stocked, tidy and welcoming for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and organise deliveries to maintain stock levels.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, neatly presented and clean.
• Assist customers promptly and courteously, answering queries and providing a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store targets and maintain smooth store operations.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑moving retail environment.
• Reliability and a solid work ethic; prior retail or hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
