Temporary Receptionist / Showroom Host (Part‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a professional, friendly and customer‑focused Receptionist / Showroom Host to provide temporary cover at a premium car showroom in Maidenhead. The role runs on specific dates in July and August, with working hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (including an unpaid lunch break). You will be the first point of contact for visitors and will help maintain a high‑standard, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly smile and professional welcome.
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception and customer areas.
- Ensure refreshments and hospitality areas are fully stocked and presented to a high standard.
- Offer drinks and refreshments to customers throughout their visit.
- Monitor customer facilities and replenish supplies as required.
- Keep the enquiry logbook accurate and up to date.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in reception, hospitality or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well presented, proactive and highly organised.
- Ability to work independently while delivering a premium customer experience.
