Temporary School Administrator (Brentwood)

About the role
This temporary position supports the day‑to‑day running of a school in Brentwood. You will act as the first point of contact for staff, parents and visitors, ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for staff and parents.
- Update and maintain pupil records in the school’s system.
- Provide routine clerical support to teaching and administrative staff.
- Generate standard letters, forms and other documents.
- Handle telephone enquiries professionally.
- Carry out general office administration tasks.
Required profile
- DBS check on file or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience in office administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail, punctual and well‑organised.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive initiative and responsibility for managing processes.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13‑£14.
- Full‑time hours (37.5 per week) with standard school timings.
