Temporary Senior Accounts Assistant – Accounts Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join a busy accounts team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the day‑to‑day running of sales and purchase ledger functions, with the possibility of taking on supervisory duties as you settle in.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile sales and purchase ledger transactions.
- Carry out complex account reconciliations.
- Support credit control activities.
- Assist with month‑end processes.
- Provide ad‑hoc support across the finance function.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Required profile
- Strong experience in both sales and purchase ledger processing.
- Excellent reconciliation skills.
- Confidence using Excel for financial tasks.
- Credit control experience is desirable.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is advantageous.
- Available to start immediately or at short notice.
