About the role
This 5‑week temporary position is based in Andover, Hampshire, supporting an established engineering client. The role offers a fixed‑term contract at £12.71 per hour, with standard weekday hours.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Load and unload items safely, often handling weights up to 60 kg with a partner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and enter data into spreadsheets.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a general warehouse environment.
- Steady employment history.
- Physically fit and able to stay on feet for most of the day.
- Ability to lift up to 60 kg with assistance.
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Experience using spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) for data entry.
- Basic PC literacy, including email usage.
