Tenancy Support Worker – Community Care

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Tenancy Support Worker to help older adults maintain stable, independent living across Edinburgh, Midlothian and Penicuik. You will work directly in the community, providing practical assistance with housing and tenancy matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with housing applications, Housing Benefit claims and financial grant requests.
• Set up and coordinate household utilities such as gas and electricity.
• Provide tailored tenancy sustainment support to help individuals remain in their homes.
• Work autonomously across multiple locations, managing your schedule and travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience supporting older adults in a care setting.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; strong organisational abilities are essential.

What we offer

• £12.63 per hour (£23,643 per year) rising to £12.88 per hour after probation.
