About the role
The Tenant Liaison Officer will support a large social‑housing project for a Housing Association in Manchester. Working on a three‑month fixed‑term basis, you will split your time between home, office and field visits to arrange access for electrical safety inspections and resolve historic no‑access cases.
Key responsibilities
- Contact residents to schedule and confirm access for EICR inspections.
- Coordinate with contractors, issue letters and attend joint access visits.
- Maintain accurate logs, appointment records and evidence trails to meet compliance deadlines.
- Support vulnerable tenants by capturing their needs and providing clear communication.
- Collaborate with housing colleagues, coordinators and external contractors to unblock access issues.
Required profile
- Strong, calm communication skills with customers.
- Experience in tenant liaison, housing repairs or contractor‑facing roles.
- Persistent, empathetic approach to resolving no‑access situations.
- Excellent organisational ability for appointments, logs and follow‑ups.
- Team‑oriented mindset, able to work with housing and contractor teams.

- Full‑time weekday hours (35 hrs/week, Monday‑Friday).
- Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home.
- Hourly rate of £17‑£19, paid weekly.
