Tender Supervisor

About the role

The Tender Supervisor sits at the centre of the business, collaborating with Operations, Business Development, Pricing, Legal, Tax, Contracts, Compliance, HSE and Quality to provide strategic commercial direction throughout the bid lifecycle. The role also strengthens commercial capability across the organisation and drives continuous improvement of tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate tender records, approvals, bid status and award information.
• Support Tender Managers and Business Line Management in bid/no‑bid evaluations, opportunity qualification and development of bid strategies, including commercial risk identification.
• Lead pre‑bid kick‑off meetings, establish tender schedules, coordinate deliverables matrices and monitor progress against milestones.
• Facilitate commercial risk assessments, develop risk registers and implement mitigation strategies in line with Oceaneering risk management.
• Supervise commercial administrative personnel and ensure quality control of pre‑qualification and tender documentation.
• Provide commercial analysis and pricing input for tenders, producing supporting documentation and interfacing with business line managers.
• Coordinate tender clarification and qualification registers, tracking commercial, contractual and technical deviations.
• Review contracts from a commercial perspective and support post‑tender negotiations.
• Manage bid review and approval processes, ensuring all required authorisations are obtained before submission.
• Compile, control and deliver tender documents on schedule, collect feedback and analyse success factors.

Required profile

• Extensive international tendering experience in the subsea workspace, including vessel and integrated vessel solution tendering.
• Demonstrable professional experience in a similar commercial tendering role.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Law, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Supervisory experience within an office environment.
