Territory Sales Representative – Joinery & Hardware

About the role

As a Territory Sales Representative for the UK’s No.1 trade kitchen supplier, you will work across the North West to grow a portfolio of trade customers. The role is field‑based, giving you autonomy to build relationships, win new business and support depot teams in delivering the Howdens model.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively approach prospective trade customers and convert opportunities into new accounts.
• Develop and nurture existing accounts, increasing spend and frequency of trading.
• Introduce new customers to Howdens’ product range and explain the benefits of the business model.
• Collaborate with depot staff to align on targets and share market insights.
• Manage customer enquiries from first contact through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM system.
• Participate in team meetings, providing performance updates and ideas.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a target‑driven sales environment or new‑business acquisition.
• Confident communicator who can engage trade customers from the first conversation.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and driven to achieve results.
• Strong organisational abilities and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Full UK driving licence.
