Territory Sales Representative – South East England

About the role

We are seeking a driven Territory Sales Representative to cover the South East England region, including London, Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Ipswich and Cambridgeshire. This customer‑facing, field‑based position focuses on developing new business and expanding existing accounts within the Foodservice Wholesale and Vending sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and increase gross profit across the assigned territory.
• Win new business and deepen relationships with Foodservice and Vending customers.
• Manage and retain existing accounts, ensuring long‑term partnership value.
• Identify and convert new opportunities through proactive, needs‑based selling.
• Maximise sales by understanding customer requirements and market trends.
• Maintain strong knowledge of product ranges across drinks, snacks and consumables.
• Monitor competitor activity and market developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver value.
• Plan and execute regular travel and customer visits within the territory.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a field‑based sales or business development role.
• Experience in Foodservice, wholesale or FMCG environments is desirable.
• Track record of delivering profitable sales growth.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Tenacious, driven and proactive approach to winning business.
• Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
