Test Automation Lead – Insurance Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a Test Automation Lead to drive testing strategy and delivery across multiple insurance analytics products in a fast‑moving, cloud‑native environment. The role blends strategic ownership of quality standards with hands‑on test development, working closely with product squads in the London office.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a clear automation approach and framework across product teams.
• Improve quality and influence testing practices across the wider engineering function.
• Write and maintain API and UI automated tests, solving real‑world problems.
• Partner with engineers, product owners and delivery leads in a multi‑product environment.
• Challenge existing processes, bring structure and drive measurable improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the insurance sector, preferably within the Lloyd’s market or specialty insurance.
• Strong background in API and UI testing and building scalable automation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working in Agile teams and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, define quality metrics and take ownership of outcomes.
