Test & Validation Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Test & Validation Integration Engineer to bridge physical products with smart IoT technology. You will be responsible for specifying, sourcing, testing and validating sensors and connected devices to ensure reliable performance before market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source and procure off‑the‑shelf IoT devices, sensors and hardware that meet product specifications.
• Design and execute DVT/PVT testing protocols under real‑world conditions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across mechanical, electronic and data interfaces.
• Serve as the technical liaison for hardware suppliers, test labs and manufacturing partners.
• Track integration milestones, risks and timelines using tools such as Jira, Trello or Excel.
• Maintain accurate validation logs, schematics and component specification sheets.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience testing, validating and debugging hardware, sensors or connected devices.
• Practical knowledge of wireless protocols (BLE, Wi‑Fi, LoRa, cellular).
• Familiarity with compliance standards (CE/UKCA, FCC, IP ratings) and CAD tools like SolidWorks is a plus.
