Testing, Crisis Management & Communication Manager (S3)

About the role

Santander UK is seeking a Testing, Crisis Management & Communication Manager to join the Chief Information & Resilience Office. Based in either Milton Keynes or Glasgow, you will lead the design and execution of data‑driven scenario testing to uncover vulnerabilities, validate resilience and support effective crisis response.

Key responsibilities

• Design severe yet plausible testing scenarios across technology, cyber, data and third‑party environments.
• Maintain a testing calendar aligned with threat intelligence, regulatory expectations and identified vulnerabilities.
• Deliver structured scenario‑testing exercises, producing clear outcomes, insights and actionable recommendations.
• Integrate testing results with Incident & Crisis Management teams to improve response playbooks and procedures.
• Identify new resilience gaps and recommend mitigation actions based on testing analysis.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in scenario design and resilience testing.
• Ability to translate technical findings into evidence‑based recommendations.
• Proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
