Theatre Nurse / ODP Scrub

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Theatre Nurse / ODP Scrub to join the team at Park Hill Hospital in Doncaster. Working within the theatre team, you will deliver high‑standard, personalised patient care in a fast‑paced orthopaedic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, individualised nursing care to patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Prepare and manage theatre equipment, consumables and scrub sets.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and other theatre staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Ramsay Health Care policies, the Ramsay Way and clinical governance standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered with the NMC or HCPC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Desirable: ALS and SFA qualifications, major orthopaedic scrub experience.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for documentation and equipment planning.
• Planning of equipment and consumable requirements.
