About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner (RN/ODP) to join the Theatre Team at North Downs Hospital in Caterham. You will work within a dynamic, patient‑focused environment, ensuring safe and high‑quality care throughout the surgical pathway.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of patient care in anaesthetic and recovery areas.
- Collaborate closely with the Theatre team, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Drive safety and quality initiatives, monitoring performance against standards.
- Identify risks, recommend and implement improvements for continuous quality enhancement.
- Support the department’s quality agenda and governance framework.
Required profile
- Current HCPC or NMC registration.
- Strong clinical background in acute surgical care.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Sound computer literacy and knowledge of relevant clinical standards.

- Comprehensive understanding of clinical standards.
- Basic computer skills.
