About the role
Join Ramsay Health Care UK’s theatre department in Chelmsford as a part‑time Theatre Scrub Practitioner (RN/ODP). You will work in modern operating rooms equipped with laminar airflow and advanced technology, providing scrub support for orthopaedic and other surgical procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Perform surgical scrub duties, handling both routine and complex cases with precision.
- Deliver individualized peri‑operative care to optimise patient outcomes during orthopaedic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to streamline operating‑room workflows.
- Maintain strict adherence to clinical standards, contributing to quality‑assurance and safety protocols.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert, mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible, positive attitude with a warm, empathetic character.
- Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification is desirable but not essential.
