About the role

As the Therapeutic Area Head for Psychiatry & Neuroscience, you will lead the medical strategy for both existing products and a robust pipeline, shaping how treatments reach patients across the UK. This senior position sits at the core of the Medical Leadership Team, influencing strategy, scientific direction, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the medical affairs strategy for the Psychiatry & Neuroscience portfolio.
• Lead a team of Medical Advisors and field medical professionals, providing mentorship and performance oversight.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align scientific data with commercial plans.
• Engage early with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies to drive adoption of innovative therapies.
• Oversee lifecycle management from early engagement through product launch and post‑launch activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in medical affairs within psychiatry, neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing medical teams and influencing corporate strategy.
• Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system and stakeholder landscape.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build consensus.
