Third Party & Outsourcing Risk Analyst (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Third Party & Outsourcing Risk Analyst on a 6‑month contract to support the Operational Risk Controls & Governance function of a global investment bank. The analyst will help develop and implement the UK third‑party and outsourcing strategy, ensuring arrangements meet regulatory expectations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support governance and oversight of third‑party and outsourcing arrangements.
• Identify outsourced relationships, complete risk assessments and maintain the third‑party register.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements (PRA, FCA, EBA, DORA).
• Govern contracts, SLAs and outsourcing agreements, escalating material risks.
• Produce MI, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and risk committees.
• Assist remediation activities where control gaps are identified.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Procurement and other business units.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in third‑party risk, outsourcing risk, operational risk or related regulatory/compliance roles.
• Good understanding of risk management principles and UK regulatory frameworks (PRA, FCA, EBA, DORA).
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a large, complex organisation.
