Title Lawyer / Conveyancer

About the role

A well‑established property law practice in Woking is looking for an experienced Title Lawyer / Conveyancer to join its in‑house team. The position is technical‑focused, offering a chance to work on complex title matters without client‑facing pressure, ideal for seasoned or semi‑retired professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse residential property titles, both registered and unregistered.
• Identify, investigate and resolve complex title defects, anomalies and legacy issues.
• Provide clear technical advice on easements, covenants, rights of way, restrictions and leasehold matters.
• Ensure all title work complies with current property law and Land Registry requirements.
• Support high‑risk or particularly complex transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with the wider conveyancing team while maintaining an autonomous workload.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Conveyancer, Title Lawyer or Property Solicitor.
• Strong technical expertise in residential conveyancing and title matters.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach.
