About the role
The company, the largest toolroom specialist in the UK, is seeking a Toolroom Operative to maintain and operate a range of cutting‑edge tools and machinery. The role offers a balanced schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain toolroom equipment.
- Carry out breakdown repairs and routine maintenance.
- Bench fit components and set up tooling.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Perform piercing, forming and cut‑off tooling operations.
Required profile
- Mechanical maintenance experience with tools and machinery.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience in bench fitting.
- Experience with piercing, forming and cut‑off tooling.
