Top 20 Manager – Management & Statutory Accounts

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead the Management & Statutory Accounts function within a fast‑growing Top 20 accountancy practice in Central London. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, provide advisory services and help drive the adoption of cloud‑based accounting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve monthly/quarterly management accounts, consolidated accounts and statutory accounts.
• Oversee preparation of corporation tax, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
• Deliver cash‑flow forecasts, budgets and financial advisory work for complex clients.
• Assist clients in migrating to cloud‑based accounting software and provide ongoing support.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable practice.
• Proven experience preparing both management and statutory accounts.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and related accounting standards.
• Ability to manage a varied client base across sectors such as property, technology, financial services, media, renewable energy and retail.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
