Topographical Surveyor – Bristol

About the role

Walker and Sloan Ltd is seeking an experienced Topographical Surveyor to join its Bristol office. You will lead surveys from initial site investigation through to the delivery of accurate CAD drawings, working on a diverse mix of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographical surveys on site and process the data into precise AutoCAD drawings.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with clients directly, maintaining high technical standards throughout the survey process.
• Support the growth of the business by contributing to team initiatives and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience completing topographical surveys from start to finish.
• Ability to work independently and deliver final drawings without supervision.
• Strong AutoCAD competence.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with CCTV drainage or utility surveying is advantageous but not essential.
• Proactive, reliable and quality‑focused approach.
