TOTAL Manager (Behaviour Support)

About the role

The Bridge Academy is seeking a TOTAL Manager (Behaviour Support) to lead the day‑to‑day operation of the TOTAL (Time Out To Access Learning) Room. This role supports pupils who have not met the school’s behaviour expectations, helping them reflect, reset and reintegrate into mainstream lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the TOTAL Room schedule and daily activities.
• Collaborate with pastoral teams, teaching staff and senior leaders to deliver tailored behaviour support.
• Guide pupils through reflection and resetting processes to ensure successful reintegration.
• Uphold and promote high standards of student culture across the school.
• Maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment aligned with the school’s warm/strict ethos.

Required profile

• Strong presence and authority to enforce high expectations fairly.
• Experience working with young people, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• Calm, resilient and solution‑focused approach under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of behaviour management strategies consistent with a warm/strict, high‑standards school.
