Town Planner / Senior Town Planner – London

About the role

We are seeking a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join a leading design‑led planning consultancy in London. The successful candidate will work on high‑quality, complex residential, mixed‑use and regeneration projects across London and the South East, within a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver planning strategies, development management and regeneration advice for major schemes.
• Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals and strategic land development proposals.
• Engage with clients, local authorities and stakeholders to secure project approvals.
• Mentor junior team members and, for senior level, lead client relationships and business development activities.

Required profile

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards) – essential for both levels.
• Experience in a planning consultancy or local authority setting.
• Strong report writing, project coordination and communication skills.
• For senior level: proven track record managing applications and appeals, commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
