Trade Floor Support Analyst (AVP)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trade Floor Support Analyst at the Associate Vice President level to join a leading investment banking client in London. The role provides first‑ and second‑line technical support to traders and the front office, ensuring smooth operation of trading activities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support to traders, diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to troubleshoot trading platform problems.
• Monitor trading systems and applications to maintain maximum uptime and performance.
• Assist with the implementation of new trading tools and technologies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
• Participate in system upgrades and enhancements to continuously improve the trading environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience providing 1st and 2nd line support on a trade floor within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of trading systems, platforms, and financial markets.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
