Trade Plate Driver – Flexible Ad‑hoc Role

About the role

We are seeking experienced Trade Plate Drivers to join a well‑established UK automotive logistics and dealer services group. The role involves collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide on a flexible, ad‑hoc basis, ensuring safe and professional transport between locations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver vehicles across the UK using trade plates.
• Travel back to base via train after each assignment.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and familiarisation where required.
• Use a company‑issued Samsung tablet to record job details.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Provide a professional and courteous service at all times.

Required profile

• Full, clean UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Minimum 2 years’ driving experience.
• Previous experience as a Trade Plate Driver or similar role preferred.
• Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexible, reliable and able to work on an ad‑hoc basis.
