About the role

As a Trading Analyst in a global energy company you will analyse data and support trading activities within the energy and natural resources sector. Your work will help ensure smooth trading operations and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse trading data and provide actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Monitor market trends and developments relevant to the energy and natural resources sector.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in managing trading systems and tools to maintain operational efficiency.
• Support trade execution by delivering accurate and timely information.
• Collaborate with other teams to align trading strategies with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Identify opportunities to optimise trading processes and reduce risks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Solid understanding of the energy and natural resources market.
• Russell Group university education.
• Financial modelling experience.
• Attention to detail and a methodical problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights clearly.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.

What we offer

• Daily rate between £200 and £240, dependent on experience.
• Temporary contract based in Canary Wharf with strong potential to convert to a permanent position.
