Trainee Account Manager – £35k Salary

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Account Manager to join our fast‑growing communications technology business in Uxbridge. You will start by learning our product portfolio and market, supporting senior colleagues, and gradually take ownership of smaller accounts before progressing to larger client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s solutions and the market landscape.
• Assist senior account managers with up‑selling and cross‑selling activities across mid‑size to large UK enterprises.
• Manage and sell to lower‑spend accounts independently.
• Prospect new business through LinkedIn, strategic email outreach and networking.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• After 9‑12 months, conduct face‑to‑face meetings and take full responsibility for client relationships.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and self‑motivation.
• Ambitious, determined and eager to succeed.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
