Trainee Air Conditioning Instructor – Automotive & Mechanical

About the role

This is a full‑time trainee position based in Gloucester, focused on vehicle air‑conditioning installation and maintenance. You will receive complete City & Guilds training to become a qualified trainer and assessor while working on real projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain vehicle air‑conditioning units from start to finish.
• Diagnose faults and carry out routine servicing of HVAC systems.
• Train clients on the safe use of industrial machinery.
• Travel between multiple customer sites throughout the South West.
• Progress towards City & Guilds trainer/assessor qualification.

Required profile

• Background in the automotive or mechanical engineering sector.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites.
• Interest in developing a career as a trainer and assessor.

Required skills

• Vehicle air‑conditioning installation.
