Trainee Audiology Practitioner

About the role

Join Specsavers as a Trainee Audiology Practitioner and become the first point of contact for customers seeking hearing support. You will receive industry‑leading training, start with wax removal using microsuction, and progress towards full clinical responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their hearing needs.
• Perform wax removal using microsuction techniques.
• Assist with hearing‑aid fitting and follow‑up under supervision.
• Cover the Guildford store and provide support to the Godalming and Cranleigh locations as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the store’s management system.

Required profile

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Keen interest in personal development and a desire to build a career in hearing care.
• Willingness to work a full‑time 40‑hour week (8:30 am‑5:30 pm).
• No specific degree or qualifications required.

Required skills

• Microsuction techniques for wax removal.
• Basic use of patient management systems.
