About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Bodyshop Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our Mercedes‑Benz bodyshop in Milton Keynes. The role combines administrative duties with hands‑on assessment of vehicle damage for both retail and insurance jobs, supporting the Bodyshop Manager and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out initial vehicle damage assessments for retail and insurance work.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and paperwork related to damage reports.
• Communicate with customers to schedule repairs and provide status updates.
• Assist the Bodyshop Manager in coordinating work schedules and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and repair orders.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic trainee with a genuine interest in automotive bodyshop work.
• Some prior experience in a bodyshop or related automotive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication skills for dealing with customers and team members.
