About the role
This is a full‑time trainee position for a CAD Technician / Draughtperson based in Leeds. You will join a well‑established electronics manufacturer and receive comprehensive training on a bespoke product line while working alongside a highly‑skilled engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and Bills of Materials for a variety of projects.
- Develop one‑off, solutions‑based products using CAD and 3D modelling tools.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and quality standards.
- Participate in succession planning and career development activities.
Required profile
- Ex‑Forces candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic experience or strong interest in design, CAD or 3D modelling.
- Good IT proficiency and a desire to become a subject‑matter expert.
