Trainee Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitter

About the role

This is a full‑time, mobile trainee position with Halfords Commercial Fleet Services, based in Dartford. You will work on a company‑provided van, using supplied tools and PPE, to service commercial vehicle tyres across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and repair tyres on cars, vans, trucks, agricultural, industrial and earth‑moving equipment – both roadside and in‑depot.
• Deliver a high‑standard customer experience on every call.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic job sheets accurately and on time.

Required profile

• REACT licence for safe roadside work.
• Full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience as a commercial tyre technician or in a similar role.
• Ability to work with heavy machinery and equipment outdoors.
