Trainee Cyber Security Analyst – No Experience Needed

About the role

This trainee position is designed for individuals with no prior IT or cyber security experience who want to launch a career in a high‑growth sector. You will follow an online training programme, complete hands‑on labs and, upon successful completion, be placed in an entry‑level IT support role.

Key responsibilities

• Complete accredited online courses covering CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+.
• Participate in practical lab simulations to configure networks, troubleshoot systems, identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
• Undertake a placement as an IT Technician, IT Support Analyst or Helpdesk Engineer, gaining real‑world experience.
• Progress to optional advanced training such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) after the initial placement.

Required profile

• Motivation to start a career in cyber security without previous experience.
• Ability to work independently through online training modules.
• Commitment to complete the full training and placement pathway.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ certification (Core 1 & Core 2).
• CompTIA Network+ certification.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Optional: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
