About the role

This trainee cyber security programme is designed for candidates with no prior experience who want to launch a career in IT and cyber security. Over a series of four steps you will receive accredited training, hands‑on labs, official certifications and a guaranteed placement as an IT Technician.

Key responsibilities

• Complete accredited online courses from CompTIA covering fundamentals of IT, networking and cyber security.
• Participate in practical labs to apply theoretical knowledge in real‑world scenarios.
• Prepare for and sit the CompTIA A+ and Network+ exams.
• Join a partner organisation as an IT Technician, supporting day‑to‑day IT operations and security tasks.

Required profile

• Motivation to start a career in cyber security without previous experience.
• Ability to study independently online and attend virtual tutoring sessions.
• Commitment to complete the training and certification within the programme timeframe.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CompTIA Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain).
