Trainee Dental Nurse – Full‑Time, West Wickham

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our West Wickham practice on a permanent, full‑time basis. No prior dental experience is required – you will receive daily practical training while working alongside experienced clinicians and studying for an approved NEBDN Dental Nursing qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surgeries and treatment rooms before patient appointments.
• Assist dentists during a variety of clinical procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control.
• Sterilise instruments and organise clinical equipment.
• Support patients throughout their appointments and ensure a comfortable experience.
• Accurately update clinical records.
• Collaborate with reception and clinical teams to ensure smooth appointment flow.

Required profile

• Enjoys working with people and has a positive attitude.
• Keen to learn and develop dental nursing skills.
• Communicates confidently and professionally.
• Has the right to work in the UK and a National Insurance number.
• Has received the first Hepatitis B vaccination or is willing to start the programme.
• Enrolled or intending to enrol on an approved NEBDN Dental Nursing qualification.

Required skills
