About the role

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide variety of procedures.
• Prepare surgeries and equipment before appointments.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments.
• Support patients throughout their appointments to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and patient documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, decontamination and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Assist with digital workflows, including scanning and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the wider practice team to keep clinics running efficiently.

Required profile

• Passionate about a career in dental nursing.
• Friendly, professional and eager to learn.
• Reliable with excellent organisational skills.
• Confident communicating with patients and colleagues.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems.
• Enrolled on, or intending to enrol on, an approved dental nursing qualification.

Required skills

• Use of digital intra‑oral scanners.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM restorative systems.
• Understanding of CBCT 3D imaging technology.
• Basic computer proficiency for clinical documentation.
