Trainee Dispenser – Pharmacy Advisor (London)

About the role

Join a busy UK store as a Trainee Dispenser and become an essential part of the pharmacy team. You will work alongside pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, gaining hands‑on experience while completing the NVQ2 Dispenser training programme.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 training programme.
• Dispense prescriptions safely, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collecting prescriptions.
• Support the pharmacist and other healthcare staff in delivering pharmacy services.
• Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with store innovations and operational processes.
• Assist patients with repeat prescriptions and medication adherence.
• Work with new dispensing technologies to improve patient safety.

Required profile

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser NVQ2 training programme.
• Current, valid UK right to work (no Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship).
• Experience in community pharmacy is beneficial but not mandatory.
