Trainee Financial Advisor – Paraplanner (12‑18 month programme)

About the role

This is a 12‑18 month trainee programme with a boutique Chartered IFA firm serving high‑net‑worth clients across London and the South East. You will be mentored by senior advisers and work towards gaining Competent Adviser status.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and conduct research on pensions, investments, tax and inheritance planning.
• Perform cash‑flow modelling for client portfolios.
• Attend client meetings alongside senior advisers to observe and support advisory discussions.
• Assist with retirement and wealth‑transfer strategies for HNW and UHNW clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a paraplanner or similar role.
• Aspiring to become a qualified financial adviser.
• Level 4 diploma (or working towards) and intent to sit Chartered exams.
• Strong written communication and analytical abilities.
