Trainee Financial Planner (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Financial Planner to join our Edinburgh office. You will start in a supported, desk‑based advisory role, working with an established client bank and gaining hands‑on experience delivering financial advice and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial planning advice to an existing portfolio of clients (typically up to £250k in investable assets).
• Conduct client reviews and ongoing servicing conversations.
• Support the conversion of existing clients onto our service propositions.
• Identify additional client needs across wealth‑planning areas and build relationships.
• Generate advice income and contribute to revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the wider Titan group to identify opportunities.
• Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations and internal processes.
• Maintain accurate, high‑quality client documentation and reporting.
• Continue developing technical knowledge and industry expertise.

Required profile

• Diploma‑qualified individual currently working in paraplanning, client management, mortgage advice or financial services administration.
• Ambition to progress to a full Financial Planner role.
• Strong interest in wealth management, employee benefits and retirement planning.
